My beautiful Black Ocherese buddy with a white chest, white paws, and silky soft fur passed away Saturday 11/24/12. I was sorry to see him go and will always miss him, but it was his time, his body was just giving out.

It was in the late 90s when my Peekapoo Jamie died and I was looking for another Peekapoo when I came accross Janet and her Lovable Companion web site. I called and talked to Janet for a while as she figured out from our conversation if I was the right kind of person for her Ocherese. Thank goodness I was acceptable. Based off of our conversation (which I still remember vividly), Janet then decide which puppy would be the best match for us both (with the puppies approval). After Janet made her selection, she described to me what he looked like and asked me for a name. Because of his black coat with touches of white on his chest and front paws made him sound like he was wearing a tuxedo, the first name that popped into my mind was Oscar, which to me sounded like a tuxedo wearing name. Janet then had to get my new puppies approve for his name...after she told him is name, she said he like it.

After Janet made all of the flight arrangements, she and her son then drove Ocar to the airport which was hours away. She updated me every step of the way. My father and I picked Oscar up from the airport and it was love at first site.

Ocar was faithful and with me through my marriage and the birth of my five children who all loved him.

Oscar is buried in my front yard under shade trees, near where my children and I pass every morning and evening waiting for the school bus to stop. He will not be forgotten.

Ocar was truley a Lovable Companion...Thank you so much Janet....Derek from Maryland
